Speed. Grit. Teamwork!

The Vessi 500 tested every crew on the water, and Inlet Spirit answered the challenge. With strong 500m performances by our Women's and our Mixed crews, the day was filled with hard-fought races and moments that reminded us why we love this sport.

🔥 Come check us out in Vancouver on Saturday, May 30 as we race alongside 130 teams from across the region! 🐉🌊

Our crew will be competing in both the Mixed and Women’s Divisions, and our U24 team, Inlet Storm, will also be hitting the water in the Mixed Division! 💪

It’s going to be an exciting day of racing, teamwork, and community spirit. If you’re around the festival grounds, stop by, say hello and cheer us on!

What an incredible accomplishment for our coach, Denise! 🌊🐉🇮🇹

On May 24, Denise took part in the 50th edition of the legendary Vogalonga — a world-renowned 30 km paddling and rowing journey through the canals, lagoon, islands, and Grand Canal of beautiful Venice.

Created as “an act of love for Venice,” Vogalonga celebrates sustainable boating, traditional watercraft, and the protection of Venice’s fragile waterways. Each year, more than 8,000 rowers and paddlers from around the world take part using over 2,000 boats of every kind imaginable!

This non-competitive event is about endurance, passion, tradition, and a deep respect for the water — values we know Denise brings to our team every day.

What a great night on the water! Beautiful conditions, eagles and herons overhead, seals alongside us, and an intense workout focused on race starts, connection, and power. 💪🐉🌊

Big thanks to our drummer Trish and our steers Jason and Rob for guiding us along while coach is away.

Only TWO more trainings until the Vessi 500 on May 30. We got this! 🔥
