Back to Saturday Practices for our Unified Ripped Tides Mixed Team. They are a group from Unified Training Centre unifiedtraining.ca in Maple Ridge BC. They are passionate about Dragon Boat racing. It was a beautiful morning to be out on the water. It's a great way to start the weekend. Worked on developing our paddling strength and power with some intense power drills. They are feeling stronger and more powerful with every practice. Saw some wildlife as well.

We love the camaraderie across the teams in our club. We had a lot of fun racing on Saturday at the FreshCo Richmond Dragon Boat Festival. Our Moody Brews mixed Team paddled hard with the help from a few Ripped Tides paddlers. With a great effort they came outside of the medal in 4th place in their finals. Regardless, of the outcome they still celebrated afterwards. On the women's side paddlers from 4 teams Pass the BUK, Moody Dragons, Moody Growlers, and Ripped Tides came together to place 3rd with only 18 paddlers to pick the Bronze medal in their Final. Congratulations to the RPDB Women's Composite Team, and the Moody Brews Mixed Team.
