From Kingston to college tennis Ethan Shugar Ethan Shugar is ready to get noticed. 🎾

He’s currently filming his college recruitment video, showcasing his match play, groundstrokes, volleys, overheads and one of the strongest parts of his game: his serve.

As a left-handed player, Ethan uses his court coverage, powerful forehand and serve to attack his opponents’ backhands. But that power didn’t appear overnight.

After beginning with a spin-focused game, years of training with Tony and the KRC coaching team have helped him add more pace while maintaining control.

Now, Ethan has his sights set on opportunities with Purdue Northwest, CUNY Queens, Barry and RIT. Purdue Northwest Queens College/CUNY BarryU Men's Tennis RIT Tennis

What makes a great junior tennis program? Better skills, competitive matches—and actually enjoying every day on court. 🎾

Hallie is 15 and loves KRC’s U18 program because she gets to stay active, train with friends and keep improving her game.

Right now, she’s working on her jump serve. Why? Because it looks cool—and honestly, that’s a pretty good reason. 😄

A typical day includes:

🎾 Skill-building drills
🎾 Games and match play
🎾 Opportunities to improve
🎾 Time on court with friends

🎾 New to tennis? Meet KRC Futures.

Futures is a fun and effective introduction to tennis for players ages 10–17, designed to make learning the game enjoyable and accessible while building the skills needed to actually play.

U14 Futures — Ages 10–13
Friday • 5:00–6:30 PM
Sunday • 1:00–2:30 PM

U18 Futures — Ages 14–17
Friday • 3:30–5:00 PM
Sunday • 1:00–2:30 PM

Players can choose 1 or 2 classes per week, with:

🎾 Beginner and Advanced stages
🎾 No assessment required to register
🎾 Maximum 4 players per court for realistic practice and play
🎾 Full-time certified professional coaches
🎾 Noble Tennis School methodology focused on maximum enjoyment and improvement
🎾 Seasonal sessions available in Fall, Winter and Spring

📅 Fall programs run September 13–December 21, 2026.

No try-out required for Futures — register directly for the Fall session.
