We’re looking for volunteers for the Cranbrook Gravel Grind. T-shirt, BBQ, drink ticket and good times included! We have a variety of roles both at the venue in Idlewild Park and out on course.

Joining our volunteer team means supporting locally. The Cranbrook Gravel Grind will be donating to local organizations, including the Wildhorse Cycling Club and Cranbrook Community Forest

The more you volunteer, the more opportunities to win prizes. Volunteer 6hrs or more to earn an entry into Steep n' Deep XC or Fernie Femmduro

New courses = new race dynamics 👀

The 56km Gold Rush Loop is running in REVERSE for 2026. This means finishing with that dreamy Chief Isadore singletrack and the beautiful Cranbrook Community Forest. Be sure to save a little something in the tank to climb up Sylvan Lake FSR and back to Idlewild Park.

The legendary 101km Big Foot Loop gets a shake up too. The race now heads out Gold Creek Road, giving riders plenty of time to battle for position climbing up to Ha Ha Creek FSR. From there, you’ll enjoy a rippin’ descent into nearly 5km of the Chief Isadore’s flowy singletrack before rejoining the original route to Wardner. From there it’s game on, with the decisive climb up Caven Creek FSR. Don’t burn all your matches. You’re still climbing when you turn on Gold Creek FSR until the last 10km when gravity finally helps take you back to Idlewild Park.
