Looking for two guys to join our team as permanent players. The competition is at Craigie on Saturday afternoons. The team is C standard. and social.

We have been continually messed around with unreliable players and just want some consistency. You don't have to be anything special, just reliable and can play most weeks.

Looking for two women to join one of our teams as permanent players. The competition is at Craigie Leisure Centre on Saturday afternoons. The team is C standard and is about fun, friendship and fitness.

You don't have to be anything special skill wise. Just reliable and can play most weeks. We will even take beginners. We have been continually messed around with unreliable players and just want some consistency.

All games will be held at the Craigie Leisure Centre 751 Whitfords Avenue Craigie.

PLAY TWO GAMES: Sons of Chtist (Men)

BYE: Killah Beez X (Mixed)

FORFEITS: Players and teams are expected to commit to playing regularly and to notify their team representative early in the week. of absences Should a team find itself short of players we have fill in rules to enable teams to play the game. All fill in players are to be approved by the Court Manager prior to participating in a game. Teams that forfeit after 11 am on the Tuesday prior to a game will be penalised. The later the notice the heavier the penalty.

FORFEITS: Players and teams are expected to commit to playing regularly and to notify their team representative early in the week. of absences Should a team find itself short of players we have fill in rules to enable teams to play the game. All fill in players are to be approved by the Court Manager prior to participating in a game. Teams that forfeit after 11 am on the Tuesday prior to a game will be penalised. The later the notice the heavier the penalty.

THE USE OF FILL INS

Unregistered players participating in a game in the Basketball Innovations Competition are considered to be fill ins.

By participating in a Basketball Innovations game, a fill in has
agreed to comply with the Players Code of Conduct and Competition By-Laws.

Fill ins may be used so a team can avoid a forfeit or occasionally for a team or player to try out who has never previously played in the competition.

Fill ins can come from other teams witand from outside the competition.

Some people are not permitted to be used as fill ins for safety, insurance, financial and work-safe reasons. A list of de-registered
and illegal players is posted on the notice-board at the entrance of the courts and inthe black scoresheet files.

All fill in players are to be approved by the Competition Administrator or Court Manager PRIOR to representing a team in a game.

SCORING AND THE SCORESHEET

1. Each team is recommended to provide a COMPETENT
scorer for the game.

2. The scoresheet is the official record of the of the game
score.

3. The score-board is not the official game score. It is simply
a courtesy so everyone has an idea of the game score.

4. Scoring issues are to be resolved in the first instance by
the game scorers. Should a resolution not be reached, the
umpires are to be involved and any decisions made by
them will be final.

5. Spectators and players are not to interfere with the
scoring process unless asked to do so by the umpires.

6. Team representatives are responsible for ensuring all team
members and spectators are familiar with the Basketball
Innovations Competition By-Laws concerning scoring.

SCAM WARNING TO ALL OUR MEMBERS

It has been brought to our attention that the PERTH BASKETBALL FILLINS PAGE (Real Page) who many of you use was accessed by scammers/bots or a real person with great IT and entrepreneur skills a few weeks ago. A fake/copycat Perth Basketball Fillins (Fake page) page has been created and the profile is being changed to make it look much older that what is really is. Only very few of our Basketball Innovations members have been affected and those persons have been privately contacted. The real PERTH BASKETBALL FILLINS PAGE is safe to use, Unfortunately FB has refused to take down the copycat page.
