⚽ KWFC WOMEN & GIRLS | WEEKLY WRAP

Another fantastic weekend of football for our KWFC Women & Girls! ⚽️💙💛
There was plenty of determination, teamwork, development and some wonderful individual moments across our teams — and with Sunday also being Father’s Day, there was even more reason to celebrate our incredible football families! 👨👧👦
💙 U17 Girls
The girls wrapped up their season with a determined final performance, finishing the year with plenty to be proud of! 💙💛
The girls started strongly, with Aneya finding the back of the net after a great first half. The second half proved more challenging, but the girls continued to battle right through to the final whistle.
🥇 POTM – Nina for her fantastic effort and determination towards the end of the game, fighting to win every ball.
⭐ Special mentions – Abbie, Ruth, Kayley & Evie, who have all stepped up in goal over the past two games while our regular goalkeeper has been out injured.
A huge congratulations to the girls on their season! 👏💙💛
💙 U15 JDL 1 Girls
An early morning trip to UWA Nedlands FC proved to be a challenging one for the girls.
After a difficult first half, the girls came out after the break with a much-improved performance, showing better control, passing and chance creation as they fought their way back into the game.
Unfortunately, a late long-range effort saw UWA take the win.
🥇 POTM – Sophie for her fantastic work rate on the right wing, scoring our first goal and setting up the second.
A fantastic fightback from the girls who never gave up! 👏
💙 U13 JD1 Girls
An amazing 3 points for the U13 JD1 girls as we near the end of the season! 💪⚽️
The girls battled all the way to the end against Armadale to secure a fantastic result.
🥇 POTM – Rowan for an excellent performance.
Well done girls! 💙💛
💙 U8 Yellow
Our U8 Yellow girls had a great game against Dianella, showing plenty of determination, resilience and team spirit throughout.
🥇 POTM – Eliza for showing incredible bravery in goal.
⭐ Special mention – all the Dads & Grandads who have been such fantastic supporters of the team throughout the year. 💙💛
💙 U10 Purple
Another fantastic team performance from our U10 Purple girls! 👏
It was fantastic to see just how much the girls have progressed since the beginning of the season, with some brilliant passing on display.
🥇 POTM – Lexi for some great defending, excellent midfield work when moved into the centre. ️
⭐ Special mentions – Kaval & Miller for their fantastic contributions, including some big tackles and plenty of work rate.
💙 U10R Girls
The U10 girls put in another great team performance against UWA NFC, with some fantastic attacking and defensive efforts throughout.
The girls worked hard defensively and supported each other throughout the game. ⚽️👏
⭐ A special mention to Miss Autumn, who took a ball to the chest like a pro! 😂💪
🥇 POTM – Millie Rose.

💙 U12 Blue – Subiaco
A fantastic team performance from our U12 Blue girls against Subiaco, with great teamwork, excellent passing and plenty of control on display.
🥇 POTM – Georgia for fantastic sportsmanship, volunteering to play for the opposition when they were short on players. What a wonderful example of the spirit of the game! 💙
⭐ Special mentions – Rylee & Izzy for their fantastic midfield performances, with Izzy also celebrating her first goal of the season! ⚽️🎉
💙 U12 Blue – Sorrento
Another fantastic effort from our U12 Blue girls against Sorrento.
The girls worked incredibly hard defensively throughout the game and created plenty of opportunities at goal, fighting right through to the final whistle. ⚽️
🥇 POTM – Harper 💪⚽️
A huge thank you to Mick for stepping in as coach, and to Olivia, Chloe & Penny for helping out with numbers. 👏
