💬 HD SOCIAL CHAT
This is our new community hangout space for everyone to connect, share, chat, ask questions, post West Coast Swing content, organise activities, or just enjoy being part of the Happensdance family.

⛰️ HD HILLTOP SUNDAYS
This chat will replace the current Hilltop Happensdancers Messenger group and will be the go-to place for everything related to our monthly Hills practice sessions in Mylor — including questions, rideshares, updates, and possibly the occasional snack discussion.

We’re really excited about these new spaces and can’t wait to see everyone connecting, sharing, supporting each other, and filling the chats with dance goodness along the way ❤️

Over the next couple of weeks, we’ll gradually invite all current Happensdance Facebook members to join — but if you’re keen to jump in early, feel free to request an invite using the links above!

Week 1 of our brand-new Beginner Course is officially underway, and what another great vibe it was last night!

It was so exciting to see new faces stepping onto the dance floor and trying West Coast Swing for the very first time — a massive well done to everyone who jumped in! 💃🕺

Missed Week 1? No stress at all! You can still jump in at Week 2, this Thursday 7th May at 8:30pm.

Also, dont forget we have our "🦺Hi-Vis Heroes" available each week to ensure you find your feet, and to answer any questions you may have.......we really love our community, and we want you to feel the love too! 💕

Hey there peeps of greatness,

⭐️Well… last Thursday was an absolute vibe, wasn’t it? Our second ‘Come & Try’ night for 2026 brought in over 100 dancers—yes, one hundred! ⭐️

And, how good was it to be back in our beloved Burnside Ballroom? (Honestly, I think the dancefloor missed us as much as we missed the dancefloor)

This Thursday we kick off a fresh 6-week block, and we’re especially excited to welcome all the brave souls who gave it a go last week.

Even better, all four class levels are back again, buzzing, and ready to go. It’s going to be big, fun, and possibly a little bit awesome— in the best possible way. 😍

Guess what? We are back into the Burnside Ballroom this Thursday night (23/04)… and yes, it feels as glorious as you remember! 💖

First up, a massive thank you for sticking with us over the past six weeks while we wrangled hall bookings with the Burnside Council, your patience has been legendary.🙏

🌟🌟Now for the fun part… we’re not just back—we’re back in FULL FORCE. 🌟🌟

🔥All four levels are returning this week, which means more music, more moves, and more chances to accidentally invent new dance styles (we fully support this).

Huge congratulations to all of you legends who’ve just wrapped up 12 weeks of West Coast Swing — seriously, that’s no small feat! Give yourselves a round of applause (and maybe a cheeky spin while you’re at it).👏💕

We’ve been absolutely loving watching you grow and glow on the dance floor — it’s like watching a bunch of dance-floor superheroes discovering their powers. And the best part? This is just the beginning of your swing-tastic journey, and we’re so excited to keep cheering you on.

Feeling brave and thinking about Level 2? 😬 Have a quick chat with one of our fabulous teachers for a thumbs-up (or a “not yet, grasshopper”).

And if Level 1 still feels like your happy place, stay right there — that’s where the magic basics live, and trust us, they’ll make you look ridiculously good forever.🤩

Plenty of dancers stick with Level 1 to sharpen those moves into something smooth, stylish, and just a little bit show-offy (in the best way).

Quick heads-up for this Thursday night (a.k.a. your weekly excuse to bust a move 💃🕺):

We’re running a last combined Level 2/3 class at 7:30pm, followed by Level 1 at 8:30pm.

Huge thank you for all your amazing support over the past 6 weeks while we teamed up with the council to ensure we could still bring you some of the best dance spaces in Adelaide—you’ve been absolute legends 🙏

😍 This will be our last week based in the Town Hall… but don’t get too emotional—we’re heading back home to the Ballroom next week 😍
