Hoshindo Karate is a member of Goju Ryu Karatedo Seiwakai (Japan) and a branch member of the JKF Goju Kai (Japan). Get fit and have fun learning traditional karate in a safe and friendly environment. A catch-up post.. Training in Omagari is complete! Truly a wonderful chance to train and learn from the worlds best karateka.. 6 days of hot and humid conditions tested us mentally and physically but we have all improved and learnt so much.

First day of training complete in Omagari. In 35degC and high humidity Fujiwara Hanshi worked us hard in kihon timing as it relates to application then took us into kata. So good just to work on our fundamentals! The big surprise was that the city council gave us a welcome party including fireworks!
