Community rugby simply wouldn't be what it is without the people who give their time and energy to make it happen.

From the early mornings and late nights, to the countless hours behind the scenes, these are the people who keep our clubs running, support our players and bring our rugby communities together.

As we celebrate the 2026 season, we're recognising some of the longest-serving volunteers across South Australian rugby.

🏉🌍 **OLD COLS FLYING THE FLAG IN EUROPE!** 🇬🇧🇳🇱🇮🇪

While we're enjoying the off-season here in Adelaide, three of our Old Collegians Premier Grade players have headed north to continue their rugby adventures in Europe! 💪

🇬🇧 **Carl Arnold** – Has joined Eton Manor Rugby Football Club in London, England, competing in the Regional 1 South East competition. Carl was named in the starting XV for last weekend's clash against ladder leaders North Walsham, which finished in a 21–21 draw!

🇳🇱 **Luke Robertson** – Has headed to the Netherlands, pulling on the boots for RugbyClub Spakenburg and experiencing rugby Dutch-style!

🇮🇪 **Salvatore Costanzo** – Has made his way to the Emerald Isle, joining Sligo Rugby and continuing his rugby journey in Ireland! As well as mastering the art of 'Splitting the G' during his first week in Ireland (IYKYK)

👏 It's fantastic to see three of our own taking their rugby overseas, gaining valuable experience, making new mates and proudly representing **Old Collegians and South Australian Rugby** on the international stage.

From Adelaide to Europe, the Old Cols spirit travels far! 💙❤️

🏉⛳ **OLD COLLEGIANS LADS TAKING ON THE LONGEST DAY!** 💛

At Old Collegians RUFC, we're always proud to recognise our players and members who go above and beyond, both on and off the rugby field!

👏 **Oscar Moss, Ryan Barlow, Craig Barlow and Alex Rokobara** are swapping their rugby gear for golf attire as they take on Cancer Council's **The Longest Day** challenge!

⛳ **72 holes. Four rounds. One day. One great cause!**

Playing under the team name **Cementing Birdies**, the boys will be putting their endurance, determination and golfing skills to the ultimate test at Flagstaff Hill Golf Club, all in support of vital cancer research.

🎯 **Their fundraising goal is $4,000**, and we'd love to see the entire Old Collegians community get behind them!

Cancer touches so many families and communities, and initiatives like this demonstrate that there's much more to being part of a rugby club than what happens on the pitch.

A huge congratulations to all of our Old Collegians players who have been selected to represent South Australia across the Men’s, Women’s and Colts teams at the Australian Rugby Shield Tournament, taking place in Geelong this week! 👏
