Last Friday, we held a Fundraiser Day for our very own Jake Riley as he starts his career as a professional golfer. It was a great day filled with some good golf and plenty of laughs!
A massive thank you to the local community and also to those local businesses that were kind enough to sponsor a hole on the day to support Jake in the first steps of what we all hope is a long career in professional golf.

Looking to improve your golf while having fun in a relaxed and welcoming environment?

Join us every second Tuesday for our Ladies Coaching Sessions at Toronto Golf Club. Whether you're completely new to golf or looking to fine-tune your game, these sessions are designed to help you build confidence, develop your skills, and enjoy the game alongside other like-minded golfers.

Each session will focus on different areas of the game, including:
⛳ Putting
⛳ Chipping
⛳ Pitching
⛳ Bunker Play
⛳ Full Swing
⛳ Course Management & On-Course Skills

📅 First Session: Tuesday 16 June 2026
⏰ Session 1: 1:00pm – 2:00pm
⏰ Session 2: 2:30pm – 3:30pm

JUNIOR NEWS

The Nelson Bay Junior Classic was held over the weekend with a number of our juniors coming away with great results.

Toronto junior Hunter Penman won the boys overall scratch event with a great score of 76. Coming in second in the scratch event was another one of our junior members, Connor Moran, with a score of 79.
Our current Toronto Ladies Club Champion, Alexis Moanaroa, took out the girls scratch event with a score of 89.
In the nett event, another Toronto junior Jesse Green came away with the overall victory with a nett score of 71.
In the 18-Hole Stableford event, Annabelle Sznicer finished in 2nd place with a score of 36pts.

Well done to all of our juniors who competed over the weekend.

📣Due to 50mm of rain in the last 6 hours and water breaking the dam, we are closing the front 9.

Back 9 is ok for those who are wanting to play.

Congratulations to member Michael Oats who managed the lifetime goal of most golfers by having a HOLE IN ONE on our 9th Hole recently. Michael hit a 6 iron that both he and his playing partners said "never left the flag" to achieve the feat.
