Briars offer various standard of Rugby, So it really doesn’t matter if you haven’t played before, with strong leadership groups, Briars will never let you fail or falter. Our experienced heads can teach you rugby one on one, you just need to bring your enthusiasm. Briars Rugby fields teams in Minis (5-9yrs), Juniors (10-17yrs), Colts (17-21yrs), Women's 7s (17+) and Men's (21+)
Preseason usually
starts at the start of February, with games starting in April going to September. Training is on Tuesdays and Thursday from 6.30pm sharp at Rothwell Park, Majors Bay Rd Concord. Attendance at both sessions is expected for all players wishing to play higher grades. As with every weekend sport there is an associated cost involved, Briars runs at a Not For Profit strategy so we invest every cent back into the club to directly benefit rugby players.
