Abbotsford Juniors Football Club (AJFC) members. Campbell Park and Lysaght Park fields are open tonight despite the rain. Restrictions are in place as follows:

• No use of goal mouth (6 yard box) areas on all fields
• No use of fixed goals on Campbell Park Field 3 and Lysaght Park to limit damage to goal areas
• Wheeled goal use restricted to youth striker training – no adult teams.
• Teams are to limit repetitive training drills in damp areas

The more teams look after the fields during these periods, the more likely we are to maintain fields as open on weekend for play (i.e. Sunday just gone).

Abbotsford Juniors Football Club (AJFC) is pleased to advise that with the sun and wind today, Campbell Park Field 1, 2 and 3 have recovered sufficiently from the mid-week rain and will be open tomorrow, Sunday 31 May, for games as scheduled.

All teams with "Pending" games at other parks and fields should continue to monitor Football Canterbury Dribl for the updated status on their games tomorrow as games may be moved to alternate fields based upon conditions. ❤☀️⚽️

Abbotsford Juniors Football Club (AJFC) members. The following update applies to AJFC Fields (Campbell Park and Lysaght Park) for this weekend inclusive of tonight - Friday 29 to Sunday 31 May.

City of Canada Bay Council has had to close most turf fields in the district as a result of the rainfall this week. The status of AJFC Fields for this weekend is as follows:

Campbell Park and Lysaght Park closed Friday 29th May and Saturday 30th May.
Lysaght Park will remain closed on Sunday 31st May.
Campbell Park will be reviewed Saturday to determine whether fields will open Sunday 31st May.

AJFC members will be advised by email and social media.

Please monitor the Football Canterbury Dribl App for updates as games may be moved to alternate fields this weekend to allow play to proceed. 🙏🌤️⚽️

With their game moved to a synthetic field, Juniors Football Club (AJFC) Under 14 Division 1 Boys Academy team continue their NSW State Cup journey this Sunday as they travel west to South Penrith to take on Emu Plains for a place in the quarter finals. 🔥🏆🔥

Abbotsford Juniors Football Club (AJFC) fields (Campbell Park and Lysaght Park) remain closed by City of Canada Bay Council this afternoon and evening (Thursday 28th May). 🌧️☔️

No football training (inclusive of Academy Skills and Goalkeeper sessions) or games permitted. The next update will be tomorrow afternoon at around 3pm with guidance for Friday night and the weekend. Hoping that the forecast rain clears quickly overnight. 🤞🤞🤞

Abbotsford Juniors Football Club (AJFC) members. City of Canada Bay Council closed fields after the rain today and with more forecast over coming days, the Club will advise members daily on field status for training sessions and games (inclusive of Academy training sessions) via social media.
