Friday nights from 16th October to 4th December

Tuesday nights from 13th October to 8th December
Wednesday nights from 14th October to 9th December
6:30pm to 9pm
Each team must supply an umpire

**Please note that team managers will register their team and complete payment but it is the players responsibility to ensure they are appropriately registered - either registered for a club in the winter seasons or paying Term 4 fees via Briars or their local association**

Finals series week 2!

U16B - After beating ND in a swift 3-1 win in PH. Our 16 Maroon’s travel to Ryde to play 2nd place Manly for a spot in the GF. Head down to Ryde to watch them play this Friday at 8pm.

U16 Metro - After a week off, our 16 Metro returns this week refreshed and ready to take on 3rd place Manly. Head to SOP F2 to watch them play this Friday at 8pm for a spot in the GF.

U12A - After a 2-2 draw in the semi final against top of the table ND, our young Briars head to the preliminary finals to fight for their spot in the GF. Our 12A will head to Ryde on Saturday morning to play 3rd place Ryde at 9:30am. Come down and cheer them on!

Join us at Parkside in Briars Sports as we celebrate the end of the hockey season! From U6 to U16, join us in recognising those who excelled on and off the field.

Date: Wednesday, 16th September
Time: 5:30pm
Venue: Briars Sports Club – 14 Ian Parade, Concord

Please note that this event has free entry, drinks and food from The Backyard Bistro will be available at your own expense.

JUNIORS FINALS

The season has come to an end for our men’s and women’s teams BUT not for four of our juniors teams who are through to the finals!! A huge achievement from all of them, we would love to show our club spirit and get as many people out as we can to support them. Three of them compete in the semi finals this weekend, and our U16A team get a week off before their preliminary final on the 4th of September.

Briars Hockey is reinventing Senior Presentation Night!

Join us Parkside at Briars Sports as we celebrate the end of the hockey season! Enjoy delicious canapés and your favourite drinks while recognising those who have excelled both on and off the field. Once the presentations are complete, head inside the club and dance the night away!

Date: Saturday, 19th September
Time: Doors at 6pm for 6:30pm start
Venue: Briars Sports Club – 14 Ian Parade, Concord
Tickets: $50 per person

CAST YOUR VOTE NOW!

Briars Hockey Club Awards recognise a handful of Club members who have gone above and beyond this season to help support and develop the club in one way or another and uphold the values of what it means to be a Briar.

We are now open for nominations and invite any club member to provide a nomination for one or all of these awards prior to Sunday 23rd August (this Sunday).

🚨 400 GAME MILESTONE 🚨

Two of our wonderful women’s players hit 400 games in the past fortnight!

Emma, our former club president, hit 400 games two weeks ago - an impressive milestone for an impressive woman. Emma joined Briars over 2 decades ago and was fundamental at Briars in her years as President from 2013 - 2018 & Vice President prior. Emma has worn many hats in her time at Briars.

Cindy, our former Women’s Vice President who served from 2020-2025, is now our Women’s Registrar. Having joined Briars in 2003, Cindy is the lifeblood of our women’s side. Cindy has led the women’s side with integrity and passion.

Congratulations to Emma & Cindy, we’re lucky to have you superstars at Briars!
