THREE FLAGS. 🏆🏆🏆

But the best thing we brought to the ground today was a positive, proud and very Cannons vibe.

Every player, coach, family and supporter should be incredibly proud of the way our club showed up today.

🧡 U13 GIRLS
Not the result they were hoping for, but they gave everything and did the Cannons proud with their effort, courage and determination.

🏆 U17 BOYS — PREMIERS
They turned up, played for each other and got the job done. What a way to finish their Cannons journey.

🏆 U15 GIRLS — PREMIERS
A huge contest against Cronulla. Our girls trusted their game plan, backed each other and were rewarded.

🏆 U12 MIXED — PREMIERS
Another big battle with Leichhardt. Our Cannons were switched on and produced a fantastic team performance.

Three premierships. Four teams representing our club on Grand Final Day. One very proud Cannons family. 🧡

A special day ahead for the Cannons this Sunday, with four of our teams taking the field in their Grand Finals - all at Olds Park, back-to-back throughout the day.

🧡 What a night for the Cannons!

A huge congratulations to our four AFL Sydney Juniors Awards nominees, who all finished in the top three of their respective competitions:

🥈 Ella – Runner Up, U13 Youth Girls
🥈 Lesa – Runner Up, U15 Youth Girls
🥉 Ellie – 3rd Place, U17 Youth Girls
🥈 JJ – Runner Up, U17 Boys

With votes cast by match umpires throughout the season, these results are a fantastic reflection of the impact each of them has had on the field across the year.

Four nominees. Four top-three finishes. A pretty special result for the Cannons. 🧡🏉

Winner winner chicken dinner! 🧡💥

How good is this — our friends over at our junior club Concord Giants Football have only gone and won the New Balance Ground Shaker Competition! 🏆

A cracking result for the Giants and very well deserved. We can’t wait to see those custom warm-up tees out and about.

Love seeing our junior clubs kicking goals on and off the field. 🧡🏉

We’re absolutely thrilled to announce that Concord Giants has been selected as one of the winners of the New Balance Ground Shaker Competition! 🏆
Out of all the fantastic submissions, our design stood out for its creativity and the way it captured the Concord Giants club identity — and we couldn’t be prouder!
🏉 Our club will receive 28 x New Balance custom-designed warm-up tees, featuring New Balance branding alongside our club logo.

🧡 Huge news for the Cannons!

The AFL Sydney Juniors Awards Night is a little like the Brownlow for junior footy, and this year we have four Cannons players nominated.

From Under 13s and above, match umpires cast votes each week for the best players on the ground. At the end of the season, the leading vote-getters in each competition are invited to the AFL Sydney Juniors Awards Night, where the Best & Fairest winners are announced.

A massive congratulations to:

Ella – U13 Youth Girls
Lesa – U15 Youth Girls
Ellie – U17 Youth Girls
JJ – U17 Boys

To be recognised through the umpire voting across the season is a fantastic achievement and something these four should be incredibly proud of.

The finals journey continues!

Our U13 Youth Girls, U17 Div 2 and U14 JV with Cygnets are all still alive and ready for another week of finals footy. 🏉

There was plenty to be proud of across a huge Sunday of semi-finals, and now these three teams get another opportunity to fire up and go again.

🧡 A SPECIAL SEND-OFF TO OUR U17 DIV 3 BOYS

Sunday marked the final game in a Cannons jumper for our top-age boys in the U17 Div 3 team.

Their footy journeys began with our junior clubs, Concord Giants and Drummoyne Power Junior AFL , before coming together at the Cannons for their youth footy years

As this group finishes their time with us, we simply want to say thank you. It has been wonderful watching you grow through the club and we’re proud to have had you wear the Cannons jumper.

We hope you take some great memories and friendships with you into whatever comes next. 🧡🏉
