Briars Junior Rugby Union Briars Junior Rugby caters for Under 6's - Under 18's. Great family friendly club teaching kids the kids the fundamentals of rugby, sportsmanship and teamwork.

Briars Rugby Union has been around since 1918 and is a very well established Club. In 2014 Junior Rugby was added to the existing line up of sports with the club. We currently field teams in the Inner West Minis Competition which runs from April- September with games played on Saturday mornings. We also fields teams from Under 10's to opens in the Sydney Juniors Competition which runs from April- September

Many sons have followed in footsteps of their dads and donned the Briars gold for juniors. Aaron, Will and Toby Boyter, Matt and Daniel Crippa, Harvey and Sebastian Sauran as family Centurions have led the way in the past.

Last weekend, only the second ever instance of a father following his son into Briars colours occurred.

Matthew Cameron debuted for the Briars Bin Chickens and even backed up in third grade. With Matt two games in, five year old Henry is already a season ahead of dad.
