NSW Junior Rugby Union NSW Junior Rugby Union is the body responsible for looking after junior rugby in NSW.

It has three affiliates Sydney Junior Rugby Union (SJRU), NSW Country Rugby Union (CRU) & NSW Schools whom all work together to better the game of Rugby in NSW.

Introducing the 2026 U16 NSWJRU President’s XV squad. 🏉

A long standing tradition within the NSW Juniors pathway, the President’s XV provides an important opportunity for players following a huge weekend of State Champs action.

With so many talented players on display, a separate selection process ensures more athletes have the chance to showcase their skills at the Regional Championships and continue their representative journey.

Over the years, many players have progressed from the President’s XV into final Sydney and NSW Country squads. The current record stands at 10 players making the jump to final selections.

How many will it be in 2026? 👀

Introducing our 2026 U14 Development XVs squads. 🏉

Designed to build depth within the NSW Junior pathways, the U14 Development program gives more young players the opportunity to experience representative rugby and continue their journey to the next level.

This year, both our boys and girls squads will tour to Adelaide to take on the South Australian and Tasmanian state teams in an exciting interstate campaign.

A unique opportunity to learn, grow and represent NSW, the U14 Development XVs continues to be one of our favourite junior representative programs.

Selection Announcement

For those waiting on the NSW Junior Development teams announcements - these are pending soon.

We are just waiting on the depth charts from SJRU & NSW Country so that these teams may be chosen.

Hopefully we can get these soon and bring these teams to you asap.

🏉 U14 Development teams for Boys & Girls to tour to Adelaide and play South Australia & Tasmania.
🏉 U16 Boys President's XV to play at Regionals.
🏉 U18 Girls Barbarians to play at Girls XV's Provincial Invitational.

The U15 Boys & U16 Girls Development teams to tour Japan will be chosen after Regionals. 🇯🇵
