Join us this Saturday (ANZAC day) for a social Lacrosse 5’s tournament!
Come down to the multi purpose courts at UNSW for a great afternoon of lacrosse (and good practice for Uni Nationals!)
All levels are welcome and we will head to the pub afterwards for a bev.
There is a $10 sign up fee which will be donated to support Commando Welfare Trust, a veterans charity.

If you got that feeling that something is missing in your life, it's probably lacrosse! Our first official Learn to Play is tonight at the Village Green courts, where we will take you through all the basics and get plenty of game time in.

All equipment provided, just bring running shoes, a water bottle and a friend to try the fastest sport on two feet with.

The Lions are ready to roar again 2026. With plenty of opportunities to play and meet some amazing people this term, we are excited for you to join us!

Tuesdays see our Learn to Play /Social Games bring everyone together in the mixed Lacrosse 5s format. New to Lax or a seasoned vet, these sessions are perfect to have a run and plenty of fun.

Wednesdays feature our Sixes sessions. Being played at the 2028 Olympics, this version is great for those wanting to test out their skills in a friendly environment and always welcoming to all. These will see a mix of trainings and scrimmages as part of UNSW's participation in the SLL. The first session is March 11th following Box Nationals, though there will be Box specific training until then.

The SLL (Sydney Lacrosse League) will return with small adjustments as we look to elevate the sport. The season will be played on Sunday afternoons at a variety of venues, including home games at the Lion's Den (VG). Full information will come out shortly, but we hope to see many of you repping the black and gold.

Last Round in the books for 2025, and what a season! The men started off with a strong back and forth clash, Samir Cheema locking in the top scorer for the competition with another hat trick. But a big 5 goals from Tavis, joined by Ashton with 4 and a solid debut by young Shelton with two goals and an assist meant UNSW finished with a win, though USYD locked in the overall series.

The ladies were up next and with the top goal scorer position up for grabs, UNSW'S Toko through 5 in the back of the net, her teammate Maddie added a hat trick to take the overall top goal scorer spot for 2025. Both are trialling for the Victora U-18s so we are excited to see them continue to excel. The gap would have been bigger but a whopping 16 saves by super goalie Grace Walsh held things together. UNSW won the overall women's series but both sides had great moments throughout the season.

We are excited to see how the SLL will continue to grow and expand (hello ) for more great action as the sport grows. Thanks to all for their efforts on the sidelines and with the whistle, special shoutout to Big Tim for his all around efforts. 2026 here we come!
