💜 MEMBER APPRECIATION | MEET CHANELLE 💜

We are so proud to share the incredible story of our beautiful member, Chanelle 🩷

Over the past six years, Chanelle has faced challenges that many of us could never imagine. After three major spinal operations, including a lower lumbar fusion, she had to learn to walk again after each operation and has spent years in rehabilitation—all while continuing to show up and work towards her goals. 💪

Last year brought another challenge with a 360° shoulder reconstruction and a 12-month recovery journey. Unable to lift weights until January this year, Chanelle has since been rebuilding her strength and doing what she loves—getting back into the gym! 🏋️‍♀️

And her achievements don’t stop there! 🔥 Chanelle smashed an incredible 320kg leg press for 3 reps across 3 sets, has lost 20kg while building muscle, and is continuing to grow stronger as she prepares for her wedding in October! 👰🩷

Chanelle, your determination, resilience and strength inspire us every day. We are honoured that Anytime Fitness Springfield is your safe space and a place you love to visit. 💜

There was a time when Wendy would sit outside Anytime Fitness Grafton while her son trained, not quite ready to walk through the doors herself.

Then one day, she watched other members heading in and thought, "Surely I can do that too."

So, she did. 💜

As a breast cancer survivor who had also been struggling with her mental health and anxiety, taking that first step wasn't easy. But after meeting coach Annie and finding her place within the AF Grafton community, Wendy kept coming back.

Since then, she's built her strength, fitness and balance, but it's the change in her confidence and wellbeing that she's most proud of.

And now? Wendy is the one encouraging others to keep showing up too!
