Round 6 of the ANSA Victorian Sportfishing Championship was held over the weekend at the Nelson. It was again a length based competion where centimetres and fighting factor determine points scored for the best 3 of each nominated species.
47 entrants from 6 clubs competed in conditions that varied from damp to sunny and back and forth most of Day one to a great weather Sunday for day two.
The river entrance remained closed and there lots of reports of small Perch and Bream.

BREAM:
Fred Camilleri - Portland (46cm Fork length).
ESTUARY PERCH:
Bernie Lock - Melton (41cm)
Fred Bizouard - Southern Boat (41cm).
MULLOWAY:
Frank Naylor - Southern Boat (61cm).

JUNIOR MALE: Athony Di Santo -Southern Boat (162.8pts).
FEMALE: Susan Chapman - Southern Boat (115.2pts).
