Welcome to the Portland Community Chess Club page. Our club meet-ups are every Tuesday from 3:45-4:45pm in the Portland Library (Meeting Room 1 at the front of the library), and is open to players of all ages and ability levels.

If you want to attend, simply drop in for a game on a Tuesday afternoon - no registration, sign-up or fee is required, and boards and clocks/timers are supplied by the club. This provides a great opportunity to hone your skills against new opponents, or for new players to learn the game in a friendly and supportive environment.

Feel free to message us if you have any questions!

Thanks to Bayview College staff for volunteering to supervise the club events, and to the Port of Portland Victoria for funding club equipment through their Community Sponsorship Program.
