Inter Lions FC 1983

Inter Lions FC was established in 1983 and are based in Concord, Sydney, Australia. Inter Lions FC was previously known as Majors Bay Soccer Club.

Inter Lions FC was previously known as Majors Bay Soccer Club and changed names in 1995. Inter Lions over the years have grown to become a well known football club not only within the City of Canada Bay but also throughout NSW. We have teams competing in Local Competitions and also teams that compete at the representative levels within NSW.

Our Senior Men's will look to get back in the winners circle as they take on Hurstville ZFC at Majors Bay Reserve.

Our Boys Youth have a massive tie against Prospect United SC NPL. A few big match ups what will make for some very entertaining football.

SQUAD UPDATE | 2026 WOMEN'S FIRST GRADE SIGNINGS

With the transfer window now officially closed, Inter Lions FC is pleased to confirm our final squad additions for the 2026 Women’s First Grade season.

We welcome three new signings to the club alongside a key re-signing from last year’s campaign.

New Signings:

Charlotte Mclean! Joins the club bringing elite professional experience, having previously played for Sydney FC in the A-League Women and North Carolina Courage in the US NWSL. Her leadership and composure will heavily reinforce our defensive unit

Alyssa Walsh (Buzz) joined the club at the beginning of the window from UNSW FC and has made an immediate impact. Buzz has already delivered an impressive 3 goals and 3 assists in just 5 games for Inter Lions so far.

Amelia Suma has arrived from the US. Amelia returns to the FNSW system, where she previously featured for Northern Tigers and Manly United, adding sharp technical movement and clinical finishing to our front line.

Re-Signing!

We are delighted to confirm the re-signing of a 2025 fan favourite Amy Humphrey!.Amy’s tactical versatility out wide and work ethic were vital to the squad last season, and she remains a core component of our wide structures moving forward.

With the window shut, the squad is fully locked in and focused on the challenges ahead.

Please join us in welcoming Charlotte, Amelia, and Alyssa to Majors Bay Reserve, and welcoming back Amy for the season ahead.

Girls Youth League Two Round 14: Team Of The Week! 🦁⚫️🔵

Another big weekend of football in the books for the youth squads at home! It was an incredible weekend on the park protecting our turf, walking away with a clean sweep of victories. The teamwork and talent shown from all age groups resulted in maximum points as we keep building our momentum every week!

U14s | 2-0 Victory
A fantastic afternoon against a tough opponent. The girls showed immense composure and great football, securing a well-earned clean sheet in front of the home crowd. A disciplined performance from start to finish to set the tone for the weekend.

U15s | 4-0 Victory
A dominant display that highlighted the immense attacking threat and team chemistry in this squad! The girls showed fantastic quality on our home deck, controlling the game and finding the back of the net four times while keeping things perfectly tight at the back.

U16s | 1-0 Victory
A high-intensity battle that went right to the wire! We showed great resilience and defensive structure under pressure to secure a hard-earned victory. It was a tough fight on the pitch, but the girls' fighting spirit ensured we kept the clean sheet and took all three points.

U18s | 4-1 Victory
A high-scoring, high-intensity encounter from start to finish at home. The squad showed immense heart and clinical finishing against a strong opposition, finding the back of the net four times. A brilliant team performance to cap off a stellar weekend.

Good day for BYL including 2 wins and 2 draws.

Our 15s made it 4 on the bounce and 6 undefeated with a 2-1 win
and our 18s moved into second with a 2-1 win.

Our star man comes from 16s. Matthew Sarlas who was brilliant for both 16s and 18s.

Our Mens and Boys Fixtures this weekend

Our Senior men's have hit a purple patch. 4 wins on the bounce including some big scalps and see themselves outside the relegation zone. They take on Canterbury Bankstown FC at Jensen Park at the earlier kickoff time of 5pm.

Our Boys Youth take on Sydney Uni on Sunday. The boys will continue their push towards top end of Club Championship table.

Good day for BYL including 3 wins and a draw.

Our 13s were in fine form recording a superb 4-0 win
Our 15s made it 3 on the bounce and 5 undefeated with a 1-0 win
and our 18s moved back into top 4 with a 2-1 win

Our star man comes from 13s. Dylan Morris scored a brace including a beauty from 25 out.

Girls Youth League Two | Round 12 | Team Of The Week! 🦁⚫️🔵

It was a tough weekend on the park protecting our turf against the strong Central Coast Mariners FC sides, but despite some challenging results, there were plenty of positives to build on.

The grit, development, and spirit shown across all age groups remain our biggest wins as we keep pushing for growth every week!

U14s | 3-0 Defeat
A challenging afternoon against a very clinical opponent. Despite the scoreline, the girls showed glimpses of great football and fought hard in front of the home crowd until the final whistle. Valuable lessons were learned, and we look forward to a big response at training.

U15s | 2-2 Draw
A high-intensity battle that went right to the wire! The girls showed immense character and resilience to come away with a hard-earned 2-2 draw on our home turf. A fantastic display of attacking threat and team chemistry to secure a well-deserved point.

U16s | 4-0 Defeat
A tough battle on the pitch. We showed great composure under pressure for large periods of the game, but it wasn’t our day in front of goal. There are still plenty of positive defensive structures to build from as we regroup and go again this Sunday.

U18s | 6-3 Defeat
A high-scoring, high-intensity encounter from start to finish. While the result didn’t go our way, finding the back of the net three times against a tough opposition shows the immense heart and attacking quality in this squad. We take the positives and keep working!
