Sad to hear of the passing of Steve 'Scary' Carey. Some of our long standing members would remember Scary as one of those special characters that would always stop for a chat and one of those volunteers every club loves to have. Our condolences go out to the family.

2026 Tamworth Tournament

Expressions of Interest are also open to play in the 2026 Tamworth Invitational Baseball Tournament played in Tamworth over the King’s Birthday Long weekend from Saturday 06th to Monday 8th June 2026. No experience is necessary.

Cost - For players registered to play in the 2025-6 Sumer or Winter $60.00;
For Unregistered players $100.00

You need to arrange your transport and accommodation

Registrations for Winter Baseball and Expressions of Interest for the Tamworth Tournament close on Sunday 29th March 2026 but please register ASAP.

2026 Winter Baseball Season

Registrations are now open for the 2026 Winter Baseball Season to play in the Pacific Coast Baseball League (PCBL)

The minimum age for players is 15 years as at 17 April 2026 however players aged 14years and 6 months as at 17 April 2026 may seek dispensation to play.

*ARE YOU READY FOR A MORE FUN TYPE OF BASEBALL?!*

Come and join us for the inaugural season of Inner West Social League Baseball.

What is Social League? Put simply, it’s baseball – but more fun.

Even at its lowest level, baseball can be a serious game, so it can be daunting to jump in and there are so many barriers to entry and rules to follow. Social League has been designed to change that, but retain the heart and soul of the game – hit a ball, run around, have fun.

Concord Comets Baseball Club is calling for expressions of interest for help launch its inaugural season (can’t play a game without players). So if you’re interested, please register your interest via the link at the bottom of the post.

*Inner West Social League details*
* 10 Week Season. 11 October 2025 - 13 December 2025. 9 weeks of competition with 1 week for finals.
* Post game BBQ and Drinks on the 11th October (from around 9.30pm).
* Double Headers on Saturday nights at 7pm / 8.15pm. Diamond 2 only (no games on Diamond 3 at the same time for safety reasons).
* Players / Umpires must be at least 15 years old on 11 October 2025.
* No uniform requirements. If teams don't don similar shirts and caps they will instead be given uniform coloured bibs.

With the rain finally staying away we will be running our Shake off the Cobwebs training tonight. Whether you're a returning player, new to the club or just interested in trying baseball, all are welcome.

A huge congratulations to Concord's own Christian Lane on making the Australian U18s team! Christian will now head to Japan to represent the country.

Do you want to bring happiness, joy and bacon & egg rolls to the club?

Well if you do, we need you! The club is on the hunt for a new canteen manager for the season.

We need someone to help run our canteen each Saturday morning and make sure kids can get snacks and lollies (and adults can get coffee!).

The club will assist you as much as possible, so no experience is necessary, just a willingness to help support the club and our players.

Without someone willing to step in and help run the canteen, we may not be able to open it this season - which would be a sad result.
