Dynamic, energetic, and friendly – that’s the Russell Lea Women’s Soccer Club. We gather girls and women from all corners of the Inner West AND further afield – Balmain, Annandale, Stanmore, Ashfield, Haberfield, Canada Bay, Strathfield and Burwood Putney and Gladesville. We provide instruction and training to women and girls from the age of 5 to 50+. For the 2013 season we had 17 registered teams
with players ranging from beginners to the more experienced and well-seasoned across Under 6’s to Women’s teams. Our club is driven by an enthusiastic group of volunteers and players. Made up of only female teams, we are a member of the reputable Canterbury District Soccer Football Association. The CDFSA have recognised our commitment to integrity and fair play by rewarding us multiple times with the Bert Harvey Memorial Trophy for Club Sportsmanship. On top of that, we play an awesome game of soccer and don’t mind the social side of it too!! It’s a great way to keep fit, enjoy competitive sport, meet people in the Inner West, and make new friends. We encourage players to enjoy their football regardless of their age, experience & skill level.
