💚🖤 GFA at Football Wagga Gala Day 🖤💚

What a fantastic day in Wagga for our teams yesterday.

The weather was beautiful and our U8 to U16 teams were part of 100 teams from across NSW and ACT playing.

Thanks to FWW for such a great day, and all our players, coaches, parents and supporters!

Our friends at Football NSW have seen the light, and have re-introduced a proper rep pathway for those who wish to persue it.

Essentially, Griffith and District Football Association will be selecting representative teams in U13 and U14 boys, and U14 and U15 girls. These teams will train for 6 weeks, and then attend the 3-day carnival in Mudgee in the July school holidays.

While our town has various academies, this FNSW tournament can only be a positive to bring the best players from around Griffith together to take on other strong regions and associations.

We encourage all U13 and U14 boys and U14 and U15 girls from all clubs involved with Griffith Football to take advantage of the positive exposure and potential further development opportunities this can create.
