The 2026 Yenda Prods Half on the Hill is on next Sunday!
In just over a week's time, it's on again. Here is everything you need to know about the big day.
EVENT DETAILS
DATE: Sunday 28th June 2026
LOCATION: John Piccoli Reserve - Doolan Crescent (top of Ted Scobie Oval)
START: Race briefing 8:45am, race starts at 9am
ENTRY: Individuals or teams of two (Mens, Women or Mixed)
ENTRY FEES
INDIVIDUAL HALF MARATHON: $45 per participant
TEAMS EVENTS: $35 per person in the team events

REGISTRATIONS CLOSE 6PM FRIDAY 26 JUNE
NO ENTRIES WIL BE TAKEN AFTER THIS TIME OR ON RACE DAY
Entrants who are under the age of 16 on race day who would like to compete in the Half on the Hill 21.1km team event or as an individual in the 21.1km half marathon will require approval from the committee of the Griffith Feral Joggers. You must supply documented evidence of your running abilities and will require parental permission. Note that entrants under the age of 15 are strictly not permitted to compete in the individual 21.1km half marathon.
PRIZES
Prizes will be awarded to the following:
1st, 2nd and 3rd place getters in the male individual half marathon event
1st, 2nd and 3rd place getters in the female individual half marathon event
1st place in the male teams event
1st place in the female teams event
1st place in the mixed teams event
RACE CERTIFICATES
Race certificates will be available for collection after you have completed the event.
BIB COLLECTION
Race bibs will be available for collection on race day.
Alternatively, If you wish to collect your race bib prior to the event you may do so before the Feral Joggers club run on Saturday 27th June (located opposite Pioneer Park on Scenic Hill, Griffith) between 4:00pm and 4:30pm.
GETTING THERE & PARKING
The Half on the Hill is held at John Piccoli Reserve in Doolan Crescent (above Ted Scobie Oval), just a 5 minute drive from the Griffith CBD.
Parking is on the roadside next to John Piccoli Reserve.

THE COURSE
The course is run completely on dirt roads, fire trails and tracks. Take note that there are road crossings which will be marshaled. Traffic has the right of way and the directions of marshals must be obeyed at all times.
The change-over area for teams is Dalton Park. It is competitors responsibility to make their way to and from Dalton Park.

PRESENTATION
Presentation of prizes will be held at 11:15am.
COFFEE
Coffee will be available for purchase on the day.
WATER STOPS AND FRUIT
Water stops are located approximately 3km apart around the course as well as at the start/finish area.
Competitors will also have access to a range of fresh fruit after the event, kindly donated by our sponsors. A free BBQ for competitors will also be available.
THE WEATHER
The current forecast for the Half on the Hill is a low of 11c reaching a top of 17c with a slight chance of late showers. Fingers crossed for perfect running conditions!
Run it on your own or run it with a mate. But just run it!
