🏊‍♀️🏊‍♀️ RECORD BREAKERS! 💙💛

Today in Junee, twins Audrey and Victoria were proudly presented with their Southern Inland Swimming Association Short Course Championship Record Certificates by SISA President Mark Lake following their fast performances at last Sunday’s Championships in Griffith.

And the exciting news doesn’t stop there…
Griffith Swim Club actually broke a further TWO championship records at the meet, but we’ll save those celebrations until we can officially present those certificates! 👀🔥

As we often say, competition makes everyone stronger. Swimming is a sport where chasing your personal best matters more than beating someone else, and having training partners, teammates or even a twin sister pushing you, supporting you and cheering you on can bring out performances you never thought possible.

🦋 Victoria rewrote the record books in the Girls 10 Years 50m Butterfly, breaking the championship record set just last year and lowering the mark by 0.10 seconds with a superb short course PB swim.

🏊‍♀️ Audrey produced an amazing swim
In her first-ever competitive 200m Freestyle, obliterating the existing championship record by an incredible 11 seconds. The previous record had stood since 2023.

To have one swimmer break a championship record is special. To have twins achieve it together on the same day is something truly memorable.
