The Marist Rugby Club, run by parents and staff, was established in 1992 to assist Marist in the administration aspects of the rugby program at the College.

The aim is to improve the overall standing of rugby both within and outside the College. Our Mission
To provide an effective support infrastructure for the Marist College rugby program so that students can participate in all aspects of rugby while developing their skills and interest for the game in a safe and enjoyable environment. Our Vision
Marist College Canberra is considered a successful and respected rugby school and Club. To provide the necessary support and opportunities to every participating student so they can reach their desired goals and maximise their enjoyment. Our Goals
The Club seeks to provide advice and support to the college regarding the development and management of the rugby program while providing support to the Rugby and Sports Master’s as they implement the program. Training and home ground is at the college campus @ Marr Street, Pearce

Harry Whitton, Niky Hill, Leo Miller and Will Ball are currently in Sydney representing the U15 Brumbies at the NextGen Tournament.

The boys also played a trial match against VIC last weekend, winning 45-12.

Marist Rugby Club invites all members of our community to attend the 2026 Annual General Meeting.

Nominations are now open for all Executive and Committee positions. Whether you can contribute through leadership, events, sponsorship, volunteering, communications or supporting an age group, we would love to have you involved.

We are particularly seeking additional U10, U11 and U12 parent representatives. Please consider joining the Committee and helping shape the future of Marist Rugby.
