🌟 We are super proud of our very own Deb Moss, who was recently recognised by Capital Football as a Star Volunteer. Congratulations on well-deserved recognition, Deb, and thank you for all you do for others! 🌟
Deb Moss is at the heart of the West Canberra Wanderers Football Club (WCWFC). Deb and the Moss family support many operations of our club, including uniforms, equipment management, tournaments, canteen duty, team management, field set up, [and] coordinating team communications, just to name a few. Deb has given hundreds of hours of her time over the many years her three children have played at Wanderers. Deb is a committee member and works tirelessly behind the scenes. She also capably facilitates the organisation of Club functions, including high performance workshops, Trivia and Presentation Nights. In 2025, she was instrumental in organising fundraising and coordinating a trip to Singapore, enabling the WCWFC Under 16s Girls team to participate in the SingaCup, winning the competition [and] having a wonderful experience playing other Australian and Asian teams. Deb’s organisational skills, respectful communication, care for others and generous spirit benefits everyone at the Wanderers and we’d like to say thank you.
