Old Boy Cormac Hayes Racing for Australia in the World Championship Final! 🇦🇺🚣
Marist Rowing is incredibly proud of Old Boy Cormac Hayes, who is representing Australia in the PR3 Mixed Coxed Four at the 2026 World Rowing Championships in Amsterdam.
After an impressive performance in the heats, Cormac and his crew have secured their place in the A Final, where they’ll take on the world’s best for a shot at World Championship honours. The race is scheduled for Friday at 1:40am (AEST).
Cormac’s selection for the Australian team and progression to the A Final is a tremendous achievement, reflecting years of hard work, determination and commitment. As a member of the ACT Pathway Performance Program (ACTPPP), he continues to be an outstanding ambassador for Australian rowing and the Marist community.
We’ll be cheering him on from Canberra and wish Cormac and his crew the very best as they race for the podium!
