One of our members came in for a trial because his kids were training.

At first, he wasn’t even sure it was for him.
Thought he might be too old.
Was worried he’d get hurt.

Now?

He loves it.

He trains every week, his kids still train, he’s fitter than he’s been in years, made some great mates, and has become a big part of our gym & BJJ community.

The Week Ahead
With the strength work moving into higher percentages, the cardio portion will be smaller in time. That does not mean less intense, just a different focus to complement your heavy sets.
By shifting cardio to shorter, high-intensity intervals or targeted conditioning, you preserve your central nervous system (CNS) for those heavy strength gains while keeping your heart rate and work capacity high.

Monday - Public Holiday, one session only with Bree at 8am
Tuesday - Shoulder Press and reverse cruches
Wednesday - Back Squats 4x4 and a mx set alternating with pullups
Thursday - Sn**ch waves
Friday -Bench Press - 4x4 with a max set alternating with wallball deadbugs
Saturday - Run club at 7am, Jarred has a fun one at 7.30am
