Nothing beats more opportunities to race.
A great evening out at Lords View Office Park, with Jeremy Maartens putting on another criterium that gives teams and riders the chance to get some proper race intensity in the legs, test tactics, race hard and ultimately just keep racing alive.
These kinds of events are such an important part of growing the sport. They don’t always need to be massive productions. Sometimes a simple, well-run race is exactly what riders need.
A big shoutout as well to Brendon Lowson for setting up a live stream of the event. A cool milestone for him personally, but also a glimpse at what’s possible for local racing. Having people who are willing to film, stream and promote events gives races a much bigger reach and lets people follow the action from home.
Hopefully we see more organisers and races making use of initiatives like this going forward.
And as for Team RoadCover DMS… another good day of racing, plenty of action, and some solid results to show for it.
