⛷️❄️ Invest in the Next Generation of Alpine Ski Racers! ❄️⛷️

Winter is just around the corner, and the Snow Ridge Ski Club is gearing up for another incredible season on the slopes!

As a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, our mission is to offer children the opportunity to learn and improve skiing skills, race competitively, and develop a love for the lifelong family sport of skiing, through quality coaching, family involvement, and social interaction in a team environment. We look to develop alpine ski racers who thrive both on the race course and as part of a supportive community.

As a 100% volunteer-run organization, we are proud to share that 100% of all funds raised go directly toward our program and our athletes!

To help us maintain our training programs and provide the resources needed on the mountain this year, we are officially kicking off our private donation drive!

Kicking off the 2026-2027 season at Snow Ridge Ski Resort with some dry land training. We had a great turnout, and we are excited to see the season to come!

We are planning a Dry Land Training on Sunday 10/25 at 12pm for any racers that can make it. Please meet us at the timing building at Snow Ridge. We will have team jackets with us to try on for sizing as we prepare for the upcoming race season.

If there are any 12-17 year olds out there that would like to dress and act like a zombie for a Zombie Run 5k in Lowville on October 31st, they are looking for volunteers.

Zombie volunteers will need to sign up in advance an participate in Zombie Run Boot Camp at 8am before the race which starts at 10.

The Lewis County Youth Bureau has been a huge supporter of the Snow Ridge Ski Club. They have provided us with grant funding each of the last two seasons to help purchase team jackets and timing equipment.

Here is a video that they shot during our Club Championship highlighting the need to put our screens down and get outside.

Photo drop from our last Adirondack Council race Oak Mountain. This is always a fun way to end the season, mixing teams from the all of the clubs.

This weekend our U16 racers Camry and Chase participated in the Sports Page Cup U16 State Championships at West Mountain and our U14 racer Harper participated in the Mud, Sweat and Gears Cup U14 State Chamionship at Holimont.

On March 1, 2026, the Snow Ridge Ski Club celebrated its 2025-2026 season with the annual Club Championship held at Snow Ridge Ski Resort, followed by an awards banquet at the Constableville Fire Department. The event brought together athletes, families, and community members to recognize a season defined by growth, speed, and sportsmanship.

The Club Championship featured high-energy competition across all age brackets in slalom and giant slalom, culminating in the naming of the day’s overall top performers. Chase Kraeger took home the title of Fastest Boy, while Gracie Waite earned the honor of Fastest Girl. Both athletes demonstrated exceptional technical skill and consistency on the hill throughout the day.

Following the races, the club transitioned to the Constableville Fire Department for its annual banquet, where we shared food, laughter and announced the results from the day's race. Additionally, two of the organization’s most prestigious memorial awards were presented. These awards recognize individuals who embody the spirit, dedication, and character that the Snow Ridge Ski Club strives to instill in its members.

• The Bernie Kraeger Award: Presented to Tony Kraeger for outstanding commitment and contribution to the club as a volunteer.
• The Don Gracey Award: Presented to Caydn Salmon in recognition of his exemplary sportsmanship, attitude and character.

Huge congratulations to Camry and Chase for representing the Snow Ridge Race Team at the Empire State Winter Games this weekend!

Competing in Slalom and Giant Slalom on the biggest stage in New York is no small feat—especially considering this is the first time in nearly 20 years that Snow Ridge has sent qualifying racers to the Games! 🏆

We are so proud of your hard work, speed, and grit and the track you're setting for our younger racers! ❄️✨
