Constant evolution. Sometimes flowing, sometimes scrapping. Not linear. What's constant is the magnitude of Whiteface. From storied Olympic Skiing, World Cup Downhill MTB, to National and International series trail running, all sharing in the reality of how rugged events are that are provided the opportunity and gift of being challenged by its slopes.
We've had the opportunity to plug into multiple US and World Sky series. Not the picture perfect representation of what looks good in media which is often alpine scree fields. But with greater gain / loss per mile than most if not all others. A Mountain Champs and watching some of the fastest in the Country throw down alongside athletes of all paces and ages working no less hard with no less of accomplishments in reaching the finish.
Here's to continued inspiration recreating routes and opportunities on this mountain and in this place. For '27, coming in the form of a trail (half and) marathon with more elevation gain and loss than possibly anywhere in the world. Roughly 11.5k over 26.2 miles of alpine gnar and flowy flume. In the shared passion to do hard and beautiful things by all who toe the line. Whether the first, or last to cross the finish, the accomplishment is all the same.
