No days off. Two workouts a day. Feeling guilty for resting.
Sound familiar?
There’s a weird culture in fitness where people think being exhausted all the time means they’re doing something right. But constant fatigue, poor sleep, aching joints, declining performance, and burnout are not badges of honor.
“The body adapts to stress through recovery.”
The workout itself is only the stimulus. Recovery is what allows it to rebuild.
That means recovery is not quitting, falling off, or losing progress. It matters. Period.
