Grounded in Gottman Method, Relational Life Therapy, and nervous-system awareness. Core Connection exists to help couples and men rebuild trust, emotional safety, and real connection where it matters most. My work integrates evidence-based relationship methods, including Gottman Method principles and Relational Life Therapy, with grounded life experience and direct, compassionate guidance. I work

with couples navigating conflict, disconnection, trauma, addiction, and infidelity, helping them move out of blame, shutdown, and power struggles into repair and mutual respect. In addition to couples work, I specialize in Men’s Relational Health—supporting men in developing emotional awareness, healthy communication, and relational leadership that strengthens their relationships rather than eroding them. I believe strong relationships are built through honesty, accountability, and emotional safety. Core Connection is about doing the real work of love—so relationships don’t just survive, but grow deeper and stronger over time.

A relationship starts to change when the focus shifts from “What are you doing wrong?” to “What am I contributing to this pattern?”

That doesn’t mean taking all the blame. It means taking ownership of the part you actually have the power to change.

You can’t control your partner’s side of the cycle.

But you can change yours.

And sometimes, that’s where everything starts to move.

Sometimes your partner stops bringing things up because they stopped believing the conversation would go anywhere — or because they’re afraid it will just start another fight.

Not because they don’t care.

Not because everything is suddenly okay.

Sometimes they got tired of defending how they feel, repeating themselves, or ending up in the same painful cycle.

Silence doesn't always mean peace.

Sometimes it means disconnection.

If this feels familiar, it may be time to change the way the conversation happens.

Sometimes we’re nicer to strangers than we are to our partner.

We’re patient with the cashier.
We smile at the waiter.
We give coworkers the benefit of the doubt.

Then we get home and the person we say we love the most gets our frustration, our short answers, and the worst of our patience.

Familiarity shouldn’t become permission to stop being kind.

The person you love the most should get the best of your kindness—not what’s left of it.
