It was a fun, safe weekend for the team at HHH! Clayton was able to get into a break with a few miles left in the 40+ road race and finished 5th with Willem, 31st and Heath, 37th. In the 4/5 race, the guys worked together to bring back a lone rider off the front. After managing to stay out of trouble towards the end, Matt finished 8th, Brian-18, Scott-20, Kevin-23, Chris-27. In the crit on Sunday, Willem finished 17 in the 40+ while Brian made the podium with 3rd place in the 4/5 race! Scott also finished in the top ten with a 7th place, with Kevin 16th and Harold 17th. Omni results: Brian - 7, Scott - 11, Kevin - 19. Great job out there guys!

This is a big weekend for the cycling community...HHH! We have quite a few guys racing the Cat4/5 race and some racing in the 40+ race. Whether you are there to race or to ride the rally, we wish you a fun, safe weekend!

Congratulations to Melissa on her first win at Bike the Bricks last night! She was in perfect position coming around the last corner and out-sprinted everyone for the win. Matt (Cat 3/4) and Barry (Cat 4/5) both had top ten finishes in their races. Heath and Willem finished with the pack in one of the faster 40+ races they've done. Everyone had a great night and most importantly stayed upright. More racing to come Sunday and Monday!

Another great write-up from Matt Centofonti:

"One word that would describe The Matrix Challenge: Exciting. It's exciting not only from a racers perspective as we twist and turn through downtown Dallas' Wilson Historic District on a .9 mile track featuring 8 turns; but its also exciting for spectators as well...."

If you've never been to The Matrix Challenge, I highly recommend it. It's a two day, category specific criterium hosted in April, which usually brings perfect weather with it. The venue is very family friendly with parks for kids, a separate for dogs, and plenty of shade. It also brings in the big b...

The women had a good Cat 4 race at the Martix Challenge in Downtown Dallas this morning. Melissa and Jeanne both picked up cash primes and finished 6th and 7th. The Men Cat 3's, 4's and 5's race this evening starting at 4:20p. Come out and watch if you get the chance!

Great write-up from our own Matt Centofonti, who took 5th at the King of Rockwall Crit this past Saturday while spending a big chunk of the race in a solo break.

It was a very windy weekend, and the entire team worked hard both days. We look forward to racing this weekend at the Matrix Challenge in Dallas.

As the weather starts heating up, so does the race schedule. It seems we've been racing every weekend for the past month, which is AWESOME! The crits in Rockwall never disappoint, so we decided to head out there for some fun/fast races. Rockwall is 2 days of racing with the King of Rockwall Criteriu...

Our hearts, thoughts and prayers are with everyone in Boston tonight. It seems pretty trivial to talk about bike racing right now, but we did want to thank King Racing and Rockwall Cycling for a fun weekend of racing. Some highlights from the weekend included Matt getting into the break in the Cat3 race on Saturday and finishing 4th, Jeanne bridging the gap to the break in the W3/4 race on Sunday and finishing 3rd and Kevin & BJ showing awesome teamwork and race tactics in the Cat5 race, both finishing with impressive sprints and taking 3rd and 4th.

The team had a blast this past weekend racing the stage race in Tyler. The Road Race was a beautiful, windy ride with lots of rolling hills. The Cat3’s and the W4’s mostly stayed together in their races while the Cat4’s & 5’s had their fields shattered. The Time Trial was a quick 6 mile course with a few hills. Barry and Willem rode TT bikes for the first time and did really well. The Crit was challenging with 10 corners and a hill climb right before the finish line. Congratulations to Matt & Willem for being in the money for overall standings and to Jeanne for finishing 2nd overall in W4. Thanks to the Fresh Racing Team and all the volunteers who put on a fabulous event!

Them team out having some fun at our Wednesday night race. Congrats to Barry for winning the Cat 4/5 race in an impressive sprint. The team did a great job keeping things behind him.

Team update: The team has had a strong showing at races like Walburg, Pace Bend, and the Jesuit Ranger Roundup. The Valley View Crit has started on Wednesday nights with fantastic results, especially last week when the Cat5 Men swept the podium with Barry Potter getting his first win! The Cat3/4 race had team members Matt, Willem, Eric & Clayton placing 1st, 3rd, 5th, and 7th respectively. This past weekend at the Waco Stage Race the competition was tough. Congratulations to Kevin Goins for finishing 12th overall GC in the Men's 4/5 category and to Willem for taking 15th place in a grueling Cat3/4 circuit race.
