One of the most important foundational skills we teach in martial arts is how to FALL SAFELY!

Our students practice Ukemi; rolling and breakfalls (slapping the mat properly during a fall) to protect the head, neck, and body and reduce injury.

These skills don’t just help on the mat but help in everyday life too.

Learning how to fall teaches:

✅ Confidence
✅ Control under pressure
✅ Injury prevention

Our junior students are taking things to the next level!

In today’s class, you’ll see them practicing jumping sidekicks, and jumping roundhouse kicks while building real control, balance, and timing.

What makes it even better? They’re having a blast while doing it! 😄 Every jump, every kick, and every landing shows progress, not just in technique, but in confidence and athletic ability.

Martial arts is about discipline and skill, but it’s also about enjoying the journey, and these kids are doing both!
