The Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club was named the 2026 U.S. Ski & Snowboard Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined Club of the Year. Head Coach Karl Denney also earned Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined Coach of the Year and Overall Development Coach of the Year honors.

Alumni athletes recognized included Annika Belshaw, Ski Jumping Athlete of the Year; Alexa Brabec, Nordic Combined Athlete of the Year; and Niklas Malacinski, Nordic Combined Athlete of the Year. Awards were presented May 12 in Park City.

The Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club showed out at the Junior National Championships for ski jumping and Nordic combined last month. The club dominated the competition winning multiple competitions despite deteriorating snow conditions including strong winds impacting jumps and slushy cross-country trails.
