Howelsen Hill is a ski area and Nordic center in winter and a city park with mountain biking, hiking and an Alpine Slide in summer.

Howelsen Hill winter operations run through April 3. Ski Free Sunday provides free skiing/riding every Sunday of the winter season.

2026/2027 Howelsen Hill Season Passes Now On Sale

Mother Nature provide a great reminder that winter is just around the corner with a fresh dusting of snow on local peaks recently. This is your reminder that the most affordable way to enjoy a season of snow is currently on sale – a season pass to historic Howelsen Hill Ski Area.

Season passes are available for purchase online and will be available for purchase and pickup at the Howelsen Hill ticket office during select pre-season hours. The historic ski area offers six pricing categories for passes providing Alpine, Nordic, or Alpine & Nordic access. Our youngest snow lovers (4 and under) continue to be FREE with special options for college, seniors, and families in addition to traditional adult/youth choices.
