We’re in the final days of the 2026 golf season at CPCC, but our staff and members are already working on improvements for 2027…The CPWGA has funded the purchase of materials to continue adding new high quality gold tees to the course, while member Andy Courchesne donates his time and equipment, working with our Superintendent to shape these tees on holes 7, 8, and 9. Irrigation and turf will be installed in the spring to complete all new gold tees on the front nine. Many thanks to the Crown Point Women’s Golf Association and to Andy Courchesne for their support and contributions!

Several of our early golf groups noticed this bear cub perched in a tree along the stone wall that separates our property from a farmer’s field, high above the 2nd tee box at Crown Point this morning. Maybe sleeping, maybe leaf peeping, who knows? The golfers felt that momma bear was likely close by and played on. All we know is that the cub was gone by mid morning…(photo credit to K. Anderson)
