The Edgar May Health and Recreation Center Our mission is to provide area residents of all ages with the opportunities and resources necessary

Competition size lap pool, beach entry wading pool, warm water therapy pool, state-of-the-art fitness center, full service locker rooms, fitness classes, personal training, water aerobics, swimming lessons, and swim teams.

Children ages 6-9 and parents can join Aquatics Director, Julia Lamb, Tuesday September 22nd from 6-7:30pm for a free Water Safety Event. She will focus on how to be smart, safe and have fun around water. This free event is in partnership with Project Action

Here is a map of the 5k course. It will be an out and back inside the Dam area, with a mix of dirt road and grassy trail. It has some rolling hills and nice flat sections. We will have a hydration station sponsored by LAW OFFICES OF LAMB AND MCNAUGHTON, P.C. at about the halfway point.

Parking is also shown here, we will use the lot off Reservoir Road after the Dam but before the entrance to the Nature Area.

The Mascoma Bank Maniac Mile is a one mile all out race for runners to test their mile time and take a chance to win $250!

It starts on a nice downhill before turning around and heading back giving a good challenge for runners of all abilities.

Each participant will receive a cooling towel!

Just one week until the Springfield Dam Run 5k, Mascoma Bank Maniac Mile and the free HB Energy Solutions Kids Fun Run! All within the Springfield Dam area.

The event will also include ax throwing put on by The Keene Axe House, Face Painting by Mona Frye, other games and ice cream from JC's Market & Deli!
