May had quite the variety--go-karts, vintage race cars, all makes of modern cars, motorcycles, racing, HPDE, driving schools and some groovy drifting from Drift Week. It all went down smooth, safe and in good fun.

The drifters of Drift Week went counter (for the first time in the track's history!) and it was a blast to watch the controlled chaos and undeniable skill. I don't believe we've had a shark toothed Plymouth Satellite from the 1970s drift before....

Coming up in June we got a Fast Guy Club event and then of course--GRIDLIFE's Midwest Festival--coming back bigger and better than ever! The classic, fully-immersive festival with wheel-to-wheel racing, drifting, car showcases, e-sports, hands-on paddock access and tons of music will be here June 11 - 14. The music co-headliners will be Crankdat, Tape B alongside INZO.

After that an Evening Test 'n' Tune (a modest, laid-back event to get some practice), a SCCA TNiA and then NASA's Beach Party on the shore of Lake Michigan. A big racing event with sprint racing, time trial, HPDE and a driving school.

And then we got Harley-Davidsons and Indian motorcycles competing head to head in the Bagger Racing League--returning for their third year! A different kind of event for the GingerMan with it's own exciting and unique vibe.

Unfortunately the SCCA Indy Region Time Trials event on June 6 - 7 has been cancelled. Hopefully they will be back next year!

TRACKILICIOUS hosted an incredible event at GingerMan Raceway featuring the patented motion simulator from arkdynamics.com. Drivers got the chance to experience true direct-drive motion with six degrees of freedom, zero lag, and immersion built for people who take sim racing seriously.

A difference you can see, but HAVE TO FEEL!

Price: $10 per day for spectators, kids 12 and under are free.

Time:
5pm – 9pm, Friday
9am – 5pm, Saturday
9am – 6pm, Sunday

Sportbike Track Time, also known as STT, hosts motorcycle track days for riders of all skill levels, offering the perfect way to safely hone your skills, increase your speed and simply enjoy the performance of your bike.

At a track time event on a closed road course, you can ride confidently without worrying about traffic, speed limits, stop signs, wildlife, you name it!

Spectators welcome! Great fun for the whole family! Come out and see what we are all about!!!

The Vintage Sports Car Drivers Association (VSCDA) was here with fantastic weather and a huge turn out! Datsuns, Austin-Healeys, BMWs, Triumph Spitfires, MGs, beautiful Jaguar XKEs and many more competed in races over the weekend. Cars of the past living and breathing in the present.

A big shout-out to the Donato family! Three generations of the family--Gene, his sons Anthony, John, Jim, plus John's son Michael--have been racing here since the 90s. It's hard to beat that!

Go-Karts were back at the GingerMan with the RPM Speed-Sport group. A great cross-generational event with young sons and fathers on the track--together. It was the group's first time here and we hope they come back!

A shout-out to the group's leader--Robert Lawson--for making it happen! Here’s what he had to say:

“I was fortunate to have the opportunity my Father didn't.... He never got to drive with the following generation. I had a dream fulfilled as my 11-year-old nephew and I "went at it" on the full course at SPEED!

All in all a very laid back atmosphere and a great way to start the Karting Season. And, an Honor to be a part of Gingerman Raceway's 30 Anniversary Season!”

GingerMan Raceway is a road course located east of the town of South Haven in Southwest Michigan, United States. Built in 1995, the track opened for its first full season of racing sports cars and motorcycles in 1996.
