Endurance racing is HARD. ChampCar at GingerMan, 7 2/3 hours into an 8 hour race, running our best lap times of all day and without warning, not a big bang but a horrific noise of tumbling boulders under the hood - and we're done for today's and tomorrow's races. Not sure exactly what failed because no parts exited their assigned space but whatever it is, the engine runs but the car doesn't move and sounds alarming. We still trophied in 2nd for today's race but ...

Good news! Our ace crew member for past races has volunteered again to support our Champcar race next weekend at GingerMan! So happy to have you, Rob Ritt!

Endurance racing is hard. With 20 minutes to go out of today's 7 hour race, the engine let go. We were running P4 of 11 in class, P17 of 37 overall.

Repairs. Lost part of the factory wing early this morning. It was retrieved off the track mostly unscathed!
We found out the hard way that it makes a big improvement in handling when it's attached to the car.

Getting ready for Autobahn in a couple of weeks. The car is in its new home, and repairs are underway.

Our test and tune sessions tonight at GingerMan went very well. A couple of issues need to be addressed but we have til August to make the changes.

It lives! Newly rebuilt engine purrs, now that all the random wires have been either removed or repaired. How did it run at all before, with breaks concealed in lumps of electrical tape?

Now to finish all the rest of he repairs and try to hit a track day to test.

We love grassroots motorsports. Here's a B class Celica we help out in the Champ Car Series. They have been doing pretty well this season, including taking both checkers at Indy.
