Was great seeing friends old and new yesterday at our annual Tech Day. Seeing Glen’s CR every year always reminds us of how dumb we are for selling ours years ago. This beauty only has 7700miles on it which is absolutely bonkers.
Forgot to get pictures of cars from the 1st half of the day and work that was done, but you will be remembered in our hearts.

CMP was fun. Great 1st event of the year. We can’t wait to get the F2000 out for the rest of the season and have no need for PlanB any more. Def will not be relying on PlanB. 100%…..

Good news, bad news kind of week.
Bad news first. This weekend at CMP with was supposed to be the ’s first actual race weekend. We didn’t realize until last week that there are sound restrictions at CMP and it will not pass said restrictions.
Good news is is going to CMP! We weren’t planning on using it at all this season, but here we are lol. Going over the car and one of the Hypergrams had a massive crack in it. Yikes.
Big thanks to Will Lóng for the loaner wheels for the weekend.
Unfortunate the F2000 won’t make it because of DB restrictions, but guess that gives plenty of time to get more work done on it for Midwest Fest!

We staged the GX and trailer in Alabama last week in preparation for the drive back. Going home with a roof over our heads gonna be so luxurious.
10hrs to drop off the choppy back to its owner’s storage spot. Then another 5hrs home from there. Good thing only one us has to work Monday… 😂 R.I.P.

Play Disc Golf at Shoreline Park
So… I arrived for a relaxing round of Disc Golf with my 3 discs I brought with (Trail, Hex & Old Super Soft Magnet). Something is going on as there are cars all over the course starting on Hole 2.
Ok, cool. I’ll play the Back 9 since there’s nobody on it and it’s clear. As I approach my putt on Hole 16, I am flanked by 2 white pickups with very official writing on their sides and am sternly informed that the disc golf course is closed for an Art Fair.
Very good. I putt out 16(obviously 🤣), and walk to the Choppy. They both roll up and just watch until I leave.
Another Florida lesson learned today. Art fairs are serious business.
✅First time I’ve ever been kicked out of a disc golf course!

So… As I arrived to snap this and carry on, a very homeless man came running up to the Choppy.
“Hey man, you gotta call my friend Jimmy in Nevada! We have 12lb Trout out here. He’s gotta come come pick me up. Here’s his number!”
That’s interesting…
Me: “Sorry man, I’ve gotta get going. We are headed back to Chicago tomorrow.”
Homeless guy: “Perfect I need a ride to Chicago!”
As he begins to pick up all his worldly possessions, the “Flight” instinct kicked in and the AMG utilized its fully functioning V8.
This felt very Florida… 🤣

Get someone to pay for a ride in your ChopTop.
These guys were so hype to see us and next to each other, I’m sure they would’ve emptied their pockets to get rides on the Choppys.
