We have multiple camera angles.
Might as well have fun with it. šŸ˜‚
Still riding high on our weekend at Lime Rock Park, and how great the was running. Looking forward to taking all that we learned to improve it for next season as this year winds up.
As always, huge thanks to Dylan H (hawgeedecals) for being our media partner this year & helping out with content. ā¤ļø

Did you know we have a YouTube channel?
Yea, we kinda forgot about it too.
So we are gonna revive it.
We are gonna start making some YT content that we should’ve been doing all these years.
ChopTop stuffs. Track day stuffs. Recaps. In-car videos. Who knows. Give us ideas of things you want to see or hear about. YouTube is going to be a fun new little adventure.
Come on over and check out our ā€œSights & Soundsā€ vid from Lime Rock. Give us a Sub and a like if you like it. Give us a dislike if you hate it lol. Hope to see some of you over there too!

had a solid running day finally!
If sorting out rear suspension issues and a shift k**b that yeeted itself directly under the carpet is our biggest complaints, that’s a good day.
Session 1 was shakedown the car.
Session 2 was dial in shift and braking points. This was part of that dial-in process. šŸ˜‚
Session 3 was try to get the car under me, which is still a work in process. Intermittent power steering make T7 feel so sketchy.
Also, too lazy to re-edit this once realizing the pop-up was in it. šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

Ok, story time on how 2 transmissions failed in the in July and how we now have 2 functional transmissions lol.
1) First failure at Honda Meet on July 11th. As soon as we got home, our Master Transmission builder sent the chat a video explaining what he assumed the problem was. See said video, as it does an awesome job of explaining how the spring pin and shift rod does its job.
We took it apart and sure enough, he was right. It sheared off, causing the lack of gear selection as seen in the Reel from WMHM.
New Spring pin and trans is good as new.
2) Second trans that failed literally after driving the car around all day as soon as we were loading it on the trailer for Watkins Glen.
See the circled bolt?
See the plate that covers that area in the pic after?
Well it turns out that bolt backed itself out and was just grinding across that plate and finally wedged itself causing us to not be able to even move the shifter.
What a ridiculous failure that forced us to load up at the very last minute.
Threads needed some repair, but otherwise it was fine and it’s back in the car!
TL:dr version: Both trans has abnormal failures that were relatively simple fixes. Went from no transmissions back to 2.
Yay cars….

So… is unable to accelerate up the Esses here at Watkins Glen in 5th & 4th rides the limiter at 101mph.
Basically whatever speed it’s at when we shift into 5th, that’s our speed until it gets to the top of the Esses. šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚
Give yourself a little guess of what our max speed up the Esses could be, and enjoy me shifting into 5th like 25 times or something. Car sounds so good tho!
We ended the weekend with a time of 2:13.263 which was as good as we could’ve hoped for. Really wanted a 2:12.999, but poor car was pushing its limits out there.
Also, this was a fun idea in my head, but took waaayyyy too long to make.

I guess people like lap videos, so enjoy!
Session was under yellow flag for 2 laps after the warm-up. Saw a big ass hammer in the final turn, so good call on the corner station. šŸ˜‚
We got 2 hot laps and got down to a 2:13.867.
Weekend goal of 2:13s met in our 192hp beast of an lol. Seat time cars are the best cars. ā¤ļø
Also T9 is scary and I have yet to fully commit to it.

We don’t normally post lap videos because nobody cares, but gawddamn! Watkins Glen is fast as hell.
This was first session and first time on this track so it’s sloppy in many areas, but I was just having a blast.
Who knew when you have new tires that they’d grip up like this. šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ No idea what a decent lap for a stock S2000 is and honestly, not trying to win StreetMod in lol. Vibes only this weekend. ā¤ļø
If this is PlanB’s final send off for the season, this is a banger.

New tires for ?!? Old faithful hasn’t had actual new tires in years. Look, there’s lines in these tires!!!
Now that is complete, we can continue on to Watkins Glen. We also picked up some random non-S2000 owner that I guess is gonna follow us…

Sad news from TTR. Unfortunately, the will not be making it to Watkins Glen this weekend. It was a great car all day and on arriving to TTR HQ, it decided that it wanted to lock in for the weekend. F2000’s version of locking in is freezing into 1st & 2nd gear and taking 2 hands to shift.
No idea why since it drove all day with no issues, but we did not have the energy for another trans swap at midnight.
Good news! is back! Bad news is we weren’t planning on using it anymore this season, so its tires are bald af lol. Tires ordered at Tire Rack and we are on our way to pick them up. Hopefully there’s tire services at Watkins. šŸ˜‚
In short, sorry we couldn’t get the F2000 out, but at least we are still coming for the vibes. Can’t let this camper we rented go to waste!
