We have another busy and exciting week ahead!

Due to the first home Varsity Football game being held Thursday, along with the Veterans Night game & ceremony, tackle football practice this week will be:

🏈 SCRIMMAGE - MANDATORY WEIGH-IN - RAFFLE TICKET HAND IN REMINDER – SATURDAY, AUGUST 29TH 🏈

📍 Ithaca High School Football Stadium

⏰ WEIGH-IN TIMES:

7th & 8th Grade: 8:00 AM
5th & 6th Grade: 10:45 AM

Weigh-in will take place in the Home Team Room located on the turf at Ithaca High School Football Stadium.

Players can line up on the sidewalk in front of the team room while waiting to weigh in.

🎟️ RAFFLE TICKETS & MONEY

A Shepherd Youth Football board member and team mom will be set up outside of the team room. Please turn in your raffle tickets and money at their table.

Guys & Dolls has stressed that team pictures cannot be delayed for late players. If your player is late, they can still have their individual picture taken, but they will miss the team photo.

📋 Make sure to bring your picture form with you that you received. Pictures will also be available to order online afterward.

🏈 PRACTICE UPDATE FOR TOMORROW – WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 19 🏈

There is a home cross country meet tomorrow, so we will need to make a few adjustments to our practice locations:

📍 5th & 6th Grade:
Practice will be held at Salt River Park.

📍 7th & 8th Grade:
Practice will remain at our regular practice fields, but players and coaches should stay to the far west side of the fields, away from the cross country start line.

Please make sure your player is dropped off at the correct location for their grade. Be prepared for extra traffic during drop-off.

💙 SHEPHERD YOUTH FOOTBALL – WEIGH-IN & SCRIMMAGE INFORMATION 💛🏈

⚖️ WEIGH-IN REMINDER

Weigh-in is MANDATORY!

If your player does not attend weigh-in, they will NOT be eligible to carry the ball for the entire season, per league rules.

👕 Players may wear a T-shirt and shorts for weigh-in.

🏈 SCRIMMAGE INFORMATION

Scrimmages will be played in FULL PADS & HELMETS, so please make sure your player comes prepared!

🎟️ RAFFLE TICKETS & MONEY DUE

Board members will have a table set up at Ithaca High School. Please stop by to turn in your raffle ticket stubs and money.

Please help us spread the word and make sure everyone is prepared for a great day of football!
