⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️TEAM SPOTLIGHT⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️
The positive impact Coach Dave makes on each one of his players will stay with them long after they step off the field and will hopefully have a profound impact on them for the rest of their lives. Dave takes his passion of the game and instills it into the team. He is hard-working, motivated, supportive, trusting and goal oriented. His knowledge of the game is remarkable and it shows with the team's constant improvement over the past 3 years and with their season record. To say he is dedicated is an understatement, Dave isn't afraid to get dirty as he is continuously on the field practicing with the team and making sure they understand the game.

Dave's wife says: "David is one of the most athletic people I have ever met. He could try any sport once and be good at it. Back in his glory days, he played football, ran cross-country, wrestled, played semi-pro baseball and played league soccer in the Army while stationed in Germany. He also dabbled in MMA. Coaching soccer has been a great fit for David. He began coaching when our kids started playing rec and then coached for Mt. Pleasant Xtreme Soccer Club. When he was asked to coach for Shepherd, he was already so busy, but he is not one to say no. He is the type of person that would do anything for anyone. He has enjoyed this role and loves to see the players improve their game year after year. He always talks soccer at home and he is really proud of how hard his players work and how encouraging they are to each other as teammates".
