What a great time for MSA today at the Shepherd Highland Games. We want to thank the Shepherd Rotary Club and their partner, Special Olympics of Michigan for their hosting, supporting and encouraging every Highland Athlete that makes the trek to this field!
Thank you to our SOMi coaches Aundria Newkirk and Derick Zanger who poured into our Special Olympics athletes. It was so amazing to watch them building up Team North and Team South, celebrating in their wins and building them up when the events (caber especially) were difficult.
Thank you SOMi Athletes for helping change the Highland Game world. We're so happy to have you!
We also want to send a huge shout out to all our athletes. They never cease to amaze me with their selfless giving at this event. Thank you!
