Some of the Heaties went to CMU today to watch their sister Bristol come up CLUTCH and drive in the game winner with a two-bagger in the 7th!! Bristol’s Fowler Eagles advance the semi-finals on Friday @ MSU.

***Dinger Alert*** Reagan Weaver (‘29) crashing the party again! She will always be able to say she was the 1st player to hit a HR over the new fence at Fulton HS. This won’t be her last, that’s for sure! The scoreboard also filed an assault charge on Reagan. Something had to stop the ball or it would still be flying!

***Dinger Alert*** Fran Lingeman (‘28) strikes again! Fran was 2-2 during the contest including a Rocket-Shot in a 10-0 rout of the Coleman Comets. Way to swing the stick Frannie!

***Dinger Alert*** Mekahna Seeley (‘28) with another big fly last night! Seeley was a cool 3-4 with 5 RBI in the first game of the twin bill. She also pitched 2 scoreless innings while striking out 2 hitters. Great game kid!

***Tip My Cap*** I’ve been thinking about how to recognize this performance for a couple of hours. It’s not a *dinger alert*. It’s not a “win” in the stat sheets. However, Mekahna Seeley (‘28) was an absolute bulldog in the circle today. I love celebrating our players. This was a day I won’t forget. She went toe-to-toe with a very good Frankenmuth team. ‘Muth threw their horse who is a Senior D1 commit. Seeley didn’t flinch. Both went into the 4th without surrendering a hit. The Lady Jays ended up on the short end and lost a helluva game 2-0. The Sophomore got some people’s attention today giving up only 3 hits and 1 ER battling a “Michigan HS softball household name” in Chloe Compau. Mekahna was amped up. Velo was great. Mixed pitches well and pounded the strike zone. Only had to throw 62 pitches to get through a CG. Looking forward to this summer.
