We will be holding a free workshop on Sat Jan 10th from 12:30-14:00 in Studio 2 in the Cal Poly Rec Center.
If you are curious about what our class is all about, interested in trying out the class or looking for your next challenge, come and bring your friends to learn more about our style of Karate and the class itself.
You can register, but it’s not necessary and drop ins are welcome.
It will be a participatory workshop so wear gym attire to join us.

Its a new year, a new quarter and a new class starting up on Monday, Jan 5th. We will be accepting new students for the first 2-3 weeks of the quarter and it does not require any experience, just a desire to see what traditional karate is all about.

We emphasize realistic self-defense, effective punching, kicking and blocking techniques and work to perfect our centuries-old forms (kata).

Everyone is welcome to join and regardless of gender, size or strength, everyone will improve rapidly with consistent participation.

Classes are Mon & Wed at 6:45-7:45pm in the Mat Room at the Cal Poly Rec Center. Wear clothes you are comfortable exercising in, show up a bit early to stretch and warm up and try something new!

Congratulations to our two newest white belts - Kylie (5th Kyu) and Bradley (6th Kyu). They are well deserved promotions after a quarter of dedicated attendance in the dojo and we look forward to continuing the journey in Jan. Great job to both of you!
