Space still available! Sign up today!

Start your day on the ice and take your skating to the next level! Early Morning Skating Skills is designed to help young hockey players improve their skating technique, balance, agility, speed, and overall confidence on the ice.
The program offers separate sessions for middle/high school-age skaters and grades 1–5, with a maximum of 6 skaters per session. The small-group format allows for individualized coaching, detailed instruction, and greater observation of each skater’s development.

Fridays, September 18 – November 20
Wednesdays, September 16 - November 18
Grades 6-12 held 5:45am–6:35am
Grades 1-5 held 6:45am-7:35am

Participants may register for either Wednesday or Friday and will receive 10 weeks of focused skating instruction for $200 per skater.

Registration opens 9/1. Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged!

DAY: Wednesdays starting September 16

TIME: 3:00-4:00pm

LOCATION: Conference Room 1 - Rochester Recreation Dept., Foley Community Center, 150 Wakefield St.

All Rec facilities, including the Arena, will be closed on Monday, 9/7 for the Labor Day Holiday. 18+ Volleyball will be rescheduled to Wednesday, 9/9, so there will be no Family Open Gym that day.

Due to the election, there will be no programs at the Rec Center or Senior Activity Center on Tuesday, 9/8. Programs at the Arena will be held as usual, including 50+ fitness classes.

Join our friends at Granite Music Therapy for a Toddler Music Workshop.
This fun event turns music into play using song, rhythm, and collaboration. Toddlers and caregivers will clap, sing, shake, and dance together in during this workshop.

Date: Wednesday, November 4th from 10am-10:45am
Location: Rec Dojo on the second floor of the Community Center. The second floor is accessible by elevator and stairs.

Cost: Free
Age: Toddlers age 5 and under. This event is open to residents and nonresidents.
Pre-registration is required. Please register everyone who will be attending, including grown-ups.

Why should the big kids have all the Halloween fun!? Babies, toddlers & littles under 5, bring your favorite adult and come celebrate Halloween with us! Join Rec team members for a morning full of simple, spooktacular fall fun! Feel free to bring littles in their costumes, OR pajamas! (Whatever's easiest-We’ve been there!)

Activities Includes....
🎃Getting out of the house and chatting with other adults
🎃Boogying down to Halloween music
🎃Littles play area for crawling & rolling
🎃Crafts, games, and more!

16+ Kundalini Yoga is a drop-in program in held in the Rec Senior Activity Center. It is held Wednesday nights from 6pm-7:30pm. Drop-in fees are $7/residents, $10/nonresidents, or free with a 50+ Rochester/Activity Membership. Learn more at RochesterRec.RecDesk.com.

Yesterday, the Senior Center enjoyed our annual Tiki Hut Boats of NH trip, and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect day! Beautiful weather, calm water, fun facts from our captain, and we even spotted an eagle!🦅

A huge thank you to our amazing members for bringing the laughs and making the day so much fun!🌸

Eight fantastic weeks of summer camp have come and gone! We had so much fun swimming, playing games, going on field trips, and more! The memories we made will last a lifetime.

We want to say a huge thank you to campers and their families for making this a truly unforgettable summer. We would also like the thank camp and pool staff for making this a fun, safe summer!
