What an incredible race today. Sebastian Millin, crushing it at Omaha 70.3 with an impressive total time that shaved almost 7 minutes off your previous half ironman. IRONMAN USA – Midwest, while also setting new personal bests in the swim, bike, and run - one heck of a day! 5:24:35 injury free and on to the next!!!

Race alert!!! Good luck and have fun tomorrow Sebastian Millin IRONMAN USA – Midwest 70.3 in Omaha!!!

🚨📢 Trinona weekend is almost here, and we still need volunteers!

https://runsignup.com/Race/Volunteer/MN/Winona/Trinona

We need a few more awesome people to help make race weekend safe, organized, welcoming, and fun for athletes, families, and the Winona community.

Never volunteered at a race before? No problem at all. We will make sure you know where to go, what to do, and how to help. You do not need to know triathlon. You just need to show up, lend a hand, and cheer people on. Honestly, cheering loudly is half the job.

If you are racing, please share this with someone who might be able to help. If you are already volunteering, thank you! Please consider grabbing another shift or inviting a friend to join you.

Did you miss out on or Trinona sprint triathlon clinic last weekend ? If so that's okay we are holding our last clinic for that course this coming Saturday. If you are worried about cost that is okay. This clinic is free! We are and always will be community first. We understand there are many expenses to this sport and want to help as many athletes as we can to safely navigate there triathlon journey. If you would like to attend please reach out to us as we do have limited spots.

- Saturday June 6th at 9:00 AM

We will meet at the bandshell in Winona.

During these sessions, we will go through the entire swim, bike, and run courses, breaking down each segment to discuss strategies and areas of caution.

Swim: We recommend wearing a wetsuit. This coming weekend, we will have one coach in a kayak and another in the water. Please note that the following weekend, only one coach will be on hand. We will be working on open water sighting and breathing techniques.

Transition: We will have a transition rack set up to help you practice proper setup and navigation of the transition area.

Bike: Helmets and rear flashing lights are required. If you do not have a light, please let us know so we can bring an extra one for you. We will ride the entire sprint bike course. We will stop at the halfway point to discuss areas of concern.

Run: We will run the entire course, discussing strategy and identifying the locations of water stops.

We will be available to answer questions throughout the sessions and afterward. Please let me know if you have any questions in the meantime.
